Day to day life leans on Surin Plaza for groceries and basic services, with Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket reachable in under ten minutes by scooter. The dining scene is small but well known, with Catch Beach Club at the Twinpalms resort just past the headland, plus Italian, Mediterranean and Thai seafood spots clustered along the main road.
