Cape Panwa is the southeastern part of Phuket Island. Very unpopular with Russian tourists, Cape Panwa is loved by visitors from Europe, Australia, and the USA, and even Thai locals.

There are three observation decks, a port, fairly high-end hotels, private villa complexes, and the wonderful Ao Yon Beach.

Fans of water sports can go kayaking or paddling - the water is clear, the visibility is excellent even at the deeper ends. There is also a diving school here.
