Surin sits just south of Bang Tao on the same west coast strip, but the feel is noticeably more residential. Day to day life leans on Surin Plaza for groceries and basic services, with Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket reachable in under ten minutes by scooter. Schools are slightly further than from central Bang Tao but still inside a comfortable morning commute. The dining scene is small but well known, with Catch Beach Club at the Twinpalms resort just past the headland, plus Italian, Mediterranean and Thai seafood spots clustered along the main road.
