Renting as a Foreign National
Renting is open to foreigners without the quota and structuring rules that govern purchases. Any valid visa — tourist, Thailand Privilege, LTR, Non-Immigrant B or O — allows you to sign a residential lease in your own name.

The dining scene is small but well known, with Catch Beach Club at the Twinpalms resort just past the headland, plus Italian, Mediterranean and Thai seafood spots clustered along the main road. Healthcare is handled at Bangkok Hospital Phuket in town, around 30 minutes by car. Surin works best for people who want beach proximity, quieter nights and a residential feel.
