Renting as a Foreign National

Day to day life leans on Surin Plaza for groceries and basic services, with Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket reachable in under ten minutes by scooter. Schools are slightly further than from central Bang Tao but still inside a comfortable morning commute. The dining scene is small but well known, with Catch Beach Club at the Twinpalms resort just past the headland, plus Italian, Mediterranean and Thai seafood spots clustered along the main road. Healthcare is handled at Bangkok Hospital Phuket in town, around 30 minutes by car. Surin works best for people who want beach proximity, quieter nights and a residential feel.
