An Exceptional House

The house in the prestigious Laguna Homes has a large balcony overlooking the widest section of the klong (little canal), golf course, Cherngtalay hills and a most colourful sky at sunset. It is surrounded by a landscaped garden both in front and back. The front too has an open view.

It has a large living/dining room upstairs that opens up to the balcony and a living/study room downstairs leading to a spacious verandah/bar, swimming g pool area and a beautiful Sala.

It stands on a plot of 904 sqm and an additional 50 sqm passage to the klong is also under the care of the owner. The covered area is over 500 sqm. It consists of a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs and two en-suite bedrooms downstairs plus the living/study room that can be used as a bedroom.

The Sala in front and the driveway can accommodate three cars. It is fronted by a low level curved wall that does not obstruct the view of the lovely garden. The electric door is in proportion to the wall in

The house, completed in 2002, has been upgraded constantly. About five years ago, the entire Thai roof was replaced with a much more practical Balinese style roof and tiles that don’t discolor. More recently all 22 wooden windows have been replaced with alluminium frames and floors with elegant tiles more suitable for tropical climate, free of termite. Two of the three bathrooms have been totally remodeled in modern design. The teen-aged daughter’s room is a done in joyful pastel colours and has the unlimited view of the fairway and the hills.

The family of three love the house and have taken extreme care of it. The reason they are selling it is because they want to downsize their residence as their daughter leaves for college in the near future.

Extra information: Both the swimming pool and one of the bathrooms has a Jacuzzi. The maid’s room has attached bathroom, TV, fan and opens out to the garden. Next to it is the store room. Also, a new laundry room has just been added to one of the bathrooms, near the maid’s room.

The kitchen is a blend of Western and Thai style with a sliding door between the pantry and the kitchen. On top of the stairs is a hall leading to the Living room. This can be easily converted either into a guest room or a bathroom.

There is storage cupboard attached to the wall on the side garden for implements and other stuff. A smaller structure near it is meant for storage of a gas cylinder (for safety) connected to the stove upstairs. There is both a gas hob and two electric hobs and an oven.

The pool pump room is covered with ivy and fits well with the layout of the garden and a little herb area opposite it.

Laguna Homes is the second largest residential project within Laguna Phuket after Angsana Villas Resort. Laguna Homes is a 5-minute drive from Bangtao Beach. This beach is where Phuket's most popular beach clubs are located, such as Xana Beach Club, Dream Beach Club and Catch Club. Next to Laguna Homes is the Laguna Phuket Golf Club, which hosts international class tournaments. Inexperienced golfers can use the services of a personal golf coach. A 5-minute drive from Laguna Homes is the Boat Avenue shopping complex with a variety of shops, countless restaurants and bars, and a European supermarket Villa Market. The modern Porto De Phuket shopping complex, with countless restaurants, Tors supermarket, boutiques and food court, is just a short drive away. Nearby is the Lemonade Kids Club with a children's room and a pool for children, a hot sauna for adults. The bustling party scene of Patong is a 30-minute drive from the complex.
