Infrastructure

There’s no other beach in Samui that hosts as many shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets like Bophut beach. This northern, active beach offers a great variety of entertainment: night clubs, great restaurants, beach games. There is also a local central promenade here called Fisherman Village. Most likely there was a fisherman village before, however, nowadays it was transformed into a night market - not the cheapest one but offering great options. 

Seasonality and waves

Bophut beach stretches for 2 km. It’s very clean, with yellow sand, and crystal clear water - there are no surprises in forms of boulders or coral reefs. The surrounding bay doesn’t let the waves come through, therefore swimming here is very comfortable and safe. Smooth entry into the water, lets you quickly get to the deeper end.

This area is perfect for those who love shopping, swimming, and amazing food. 

Real Estate

Bophut is considered one of the most built-up areas of the island, but at the same time, it’s not very crowded. You can rent a nice house here long-term, not far from the beach, for a cheaper price.
